‘beyond words’ is a pioneering interdisciplinary project whose mission it is to define a methodology of text-to-movement translation.

The project seeks to take that vital step towards dance and words blending in ways that go beyond expected norms, delving into a more cohesive, truthful experience of word & body language.

It also creates a home for Helen’s dual artistic vision, where poetry and dance come together in ways that fully elicit their creative potentials, especially with regards to storytelling.

An ongoing exploration, and fundamental aspect to Helen’s choreographic work, the project is supported by Arts Council England, One Dance UK, and The DanceXchange.
